Our breeders have been charged with creating a Paulownia species with a trunk diameter of 30 to 50 centimeters, a tree volume of about 1 m3 and a height of 5 to 8 meters.
The crossing of two species of Paulownia Tomentosa and Paulownia Fortunei has resulted in a new generation of Paulownia Shan Tong.

How to plant Paulownia Shan Tong plants in pots?

    •     Prepare the soil before planting. Use a plow or tiller.

    • Make proper field markings. Use a 5/5 or 6/6 planting pattern mètres.

    • Dig a small hole for planting.

    • Water your plants well before planting them. This will allow a good rooting of the young tree.

    • Fill the planting hole with the necessary fertilizer.

    • Put your Paulownia plants in the planting hole at a depth of 25, 30 centimeters. And cover the seedlings with soil so that the root system is hidden underground.

    • Your paulownia will start to grow in May/June and will reach about 2 to 3 m in the first year.
    • The following year, after a November-December planting, they will need to be pruned to allow the root system to develop properly. After that, they will recover naturally and grow very quickly.
    • If you plant the paulownia correctly, you will get a good result that you will enjoy for many years.
